Hi all,

Thanks for stopping by. In case you don't know, my name is Carina Scott. I've been writing slash fanfiction for a little more than 3 years, and my main fandom is CSI. I've also written fics in the Criminal Minds, NCIS, and Leverage fandoms. At any given time I have at least 2-3 WIPs on my harddrive. The most pressing at the moment is an Alec/Eliot Leverage fic that I'm kinda stuck on and a The Mentalist/Criminal Minds Crossover AU fic that I'm having fun writing.

THIS JOURNAL WILL BE STRICTLY FOR POSTING MY FICS AND THE OCCASIONAL FANDOM-RELATED RANT :P

About me? Well, besides writing fanfiction and such, I spend the rest of my time as a freelance writer and graphic designer. Since I'm kinda new to both, I don't have a regular customer base just yet, so I also work as a Customer Service Representative from my home office. This serves as my base source of income and everything else is just extra. As my side freelance business grows, my plan is to make that my main source of income. But for now, I'm just happy to do what I love. Creating.

I'm single and NOT looking. It's not that I don't want a relationship, I do, but at the moment I'm not ACTIVELY searching for a partner. Should he show up (and if I can even take notice that he's there with my hectic home life) I'd be more than grateful about it.

At the moment, my twin brother is living with me as I try (and I do mean try) to force him to grow up and realize that it's well past time he had a place of his own.

Also, I have the luxury of spoiling my parents rotten. They are both on fixed incomes at the moment, my mother due to a disability and my father due to a layoff after working at the same company for more than ten years (damn economy!), so any extras and perks they get in their life right now mostly come from me. I don't mind because my parents struggled and worked their asses off to make sure my brother and I had everything we could ever need and most things we wanted as children. I readily admit (and they easily agree) that I spoil them, and I don't apologize for it.

I have 9 godchildren (yep, I said 9), and I spoil them every chance I get. As much as I am the funloving godparent, I'm also the strict disciplinarian. My godchildren know that I don't tolerate misbehavior, but that I will go above and beyond if they need me to. My mother says I'll be a great parent, and my father is SO beyond ready to be a grandpa. BUT I'm not ready. As much as I love children, I love it even more when they can go home. With a child of my own, that's not an option. Lol. So, yeah. Not ready to be a mother any time soon. Sorry dad.

Okay, that's enough about me. Hope I haven't bored you to tears. As you can see, my life is pretty good, but rather mundane and boring. I like it though, so I guess that's what matters most.
